LCB #60 Summit Day 1 is done! Superusers, Community 30 days launch, and developer strategies.

Hello Community Friends!

Less than 1 hour ago, we wrapped up the first day of the Community Everywhere Summit! And the whole program was packed with value and amazing strategies to apply right away!

We did enjoy the talks from Erik Martin, Serena Gasparini, Jaz Marfo, Andrew Claremont, Celine Riemenschneider, Keynotes from Rosie Sherry and Brian Oblinger and two encouraging panels led by Ruthie Berber (New York Chapter, Led by Community and Adaire Smithwick (Community Manager at Uscreen).

We learned from the experiences of communities such as Partnerships Leaders and Pavilion, both Fireside Chat hosted by Community Volunteers Nicola Earle and Akash Agrawal, Led by Community Members.

Todd Nilson and Ilker presented unique talks about the value of niches and the uncomfortable truth: a Community Manager can’t be Everywhere. (pun intended) Drew Kreiger shared insights on moving from user to champion in communities.

Phew! Lots for a day! What are you going to do tomorrow? Day 2 is almost here.
